Who can occupy the emergency seats?

Emergency seats are intended for passengers who meet specific safety requirements. If you meet these conditions, this seat is for you:

• Be over 16 years old.

• Be able to understand the instructions given by the flight attendant.

• Have sufficient mobility, strength, and dexterity to operate the emergency exit, meaning you must be capable.

• Be able to visually determine if the exit is safe to open.

• Not require special handling or the use of a mobility aid or medical device.

• Not be the only person responsible for another individual.

• Not have any condition that could cause bodily harm when operating the exit.

• Not require a seatbelt extender, as this represents a tripping hazard.

• Not be traveling with an animal in the cabin.
