Requirements by destination

Spain Passport or travel document, visa where applicable and entry requirements.
Entry into Spain for stays not exceeding ninety days during a six-month period is subject to the conditions established by Regulation (EU) 2016/399 of March 9, 2016.
Main entry requirements
- Valid and current passport or travel document. A foreign national wishing to enter Spanish territory must do so through designated entry points, have a valid passport or travel document proving their identity that is considered valid for this purpose under international agreements signed by Spain, and not be subject to any express entry ban. Citizens of any European Union Member State, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein only need a valid National Identity Card or passport. If a minor travels with a National Identity Card, it must be accompanied by parental authorization. The document must be valid for at least three months after the intended date of departure from the Member States and must have been issued within the ten years prior to the date of entry.
- Valid and current visa. This requirement applies to nationals of countries included on the list of third countries whose nationals must hold a visa when crossing external borders (Regulation (EU) 2018/1806 of November 14, 2018), provided they do not hold a valid residence permit or a valid long-stay visa issued by another Member State. Foreign nationals holding a valid residence permit or a valid long-stay visa issued by another Schengen State may travel for a maximum of 90 days in any 180-day period through the territory of the other states belonging to the Schengen area, provided they hold a valid passport or travel document, can justify the purpose and conditions of their stay and have sufficient financial means for the period they remain in Spain, and can demonstrate that they do not pose a risk to public health, public order, national security or the international relations of Spain or other states with which Spain has an agreement to that effect. They must also not appear on the national list of inadmissible persons of the Member State concerned.
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay in Spain and the return journey or travel to another country (entry may be permitted by reducing the length of stay in proportion to the available financial resources, with a corresponding note entered in the passport or similar document).
- Documentary evidence of the purpose of entry in the case of third-country nationals.
- Presentation, where applicable, of the relevant health certificates.
- Not be subject to an entry ban.
- Not pose a risk to public health, public order, national security or the international relations of Spain or other states with which Spain has an agreement to that effect.
- An invitation letter, whose sole purpose is to confirm that accommodation is genuinely available to the foreign national. It does not replace proof of any of the other entry requirements, although it will include information on whether the accommodation covers all or part of their living expenses.

Costa Rica Departure ticket, passport, visa where applicable and requirements based on nationality.
Main entry requirements
- Have an onward travel ticket or a return ticket to your country of origin. It is important to have your departure ticket ready to show the Immigration officer. If you do not have a departure ticket when you arrive, you may purchase one before reaching Immigration. If for any reason you reach Immigration without a departure ticket, you will be denied entry by the Immigration officer with no option to purchase the ticket.
- Valid passport in good condition. The minimum validity will depend on the group in which the foreign national is classified under Costa Rica's Entry Guidelines: Group 1, up to 1 day; Group 2, 3 months; Groups 3 and 4, 6 months.
- We recommend carrying a photocopy of your passport with the entry stamp during your stay.
- Hold a visa where required.
- Proof of financial solvency of US$100.00 for each month of tourism.
Additional information and requirements by nationality
Honduran passport
- Minimum passport validity: 180 calendar days.
- On arrival, you must present a single-entry consular visa, as well as a return or onward ticket from Costa Rica.
Nicaraguan passport
- Minimum passport validity: 90 calendar days.
- On arrival, you must present a single-entry consular visa, as well as a return or onward ticket from Costa Rica.
- You may also apply at Costa Rican Consulates in Nicaragua and Panama for a single-entry transit visa or a double-entry transit visa, provided your trip is for business or work purposes.
Colombian, Venezuelan or other passports
On arrival, you must present a Costa Rican, Schengen, U.S. or Canadian visa, or a European residence certificate, as well as a return or onward ticket from Costa Rica.
Departure from Costa Rica
If you are departing from Costa Rica, you must go to the check-in counter to have the relevant visas verified before the counter closes, which will be 1 hour before the flight's departure.

Dominican Republic Departure ticket and mandatory electronic form for entry and exit.
Main entry requirements
- A departure ticket from the Dominican Republic is required for all foreign nationals and non-residents.
- You must complete the free Electronic Form for the entry or exit of all passengers from Dominican territory.

Mexico Departure ticket, immigration conditions and additional requirements for some nationalities.
Main entry requirements
- A departure ticket from Mexican territory is required for all foreign nationals and non-residents. Iberojet informs you, in compliance with the Mexican Government's immigration requirements, that if you do not have a visa, are a European Union citizen and are traveling as a tourist, you may remain in Mexican territory for no more than 180 days. Border agents may require a ticket showing your departure from the country within this period, whether by boat, train, bus or air. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in inadmissibility and your return to the point where your trip began on the same day, with you being responsible for any financial loss incurred by Iberojet. Non-EU citizens can check with the Mexican embassy.
- If you enter by air, you will no longer have to complete the Electronic Multiple Migration Form (FMMe) or the traditional Multiple Migration Form. More information here.
Passengers with a Colombian passport
You must complete the mandatory pre-registration on the National Immigration Institute page, unless you are a Mexican national.
Immigration control
We hereby inform you that the Mexican Immigration Authorities are carrying out very thorough checks on our passengers upon arrival at Mexican airports. Passengers who cannot clearly prove that the purpose of their trip is tourism/vacation will not be allowed to enter the country and will be returned to their airport of origin on the next available flight.

Honduras Departure ticket, electronic travel declaration and specific documentation requirements.
Main entry requirements
- A return or onward ticket is required for all passengers except Honduran nationals.
- If you are traveling to Honduras, you must complete the Electronic Regional Travel Declaration on the National Institute of Migration website and present the QR code upon arrival.
- If you are traveling with a Costa Rican passport, you must present a criminal record certificate issued by Costa Rica, unless you are traveling with a diplomatic passport.
Discounts for senior citizens aged 80 and over
- Iberojet informs you that these discounts only apply through travel agencies, at the check-in counter.
- The passenger must prove their age with a passport or National Identification Document.
- They do not apply to online sales or promotional fares.

Mauritius Passport, visa depending on nationality and Mauritius All in One Travel Form.
Main entry requirements
- It is important to travel with a valid passport with more than 6 months' validity remaining.
- Citizens of EU countries do not need a visa for short stays of up to 90 days.
- If you are traveling to Mauritius, you must complete the Mauritius All in One Travel Form. You must complete it online and carry a printed copy with the QR code to show the health authorities upon arrival.
Thailand Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), required documentation and Destination Thailand Visa.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
Starting May 1, 2025, if you travel to Thailand by air, land or sea, you must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours before your arrival. This digital form replaces the physical TM6 form and is intended to streamline entry procedures and improve security.
Who must complete the TDAC?
You must complete the TDAC if you are not a Thai national, except if you are in transit without passing through immigration control or if you enter with a Border Pass.

Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)
Travelers can obtain a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) to visit the country as remote workers or take part in long-term cultural activities such as Muay Thai courses, Thai cooking classes, sports training, medical treatments, seminars or music festivals. The DTV is valid for 5 years with multiple entries and allows stays of up to 180 days per visit. Spouses and children of DTV holders may also apply to join them in Thailand.
